Late-Summer Lazy Blog

Jessica Feltz Wolfson's picture

Summer's been crazy.  Here's a video on my clinic that NBC televised last weekend; they stopped-in Saturday morning and aired it that night.  http://your4state.com/content/fulltext/?cid=26451  (Click on the "Watch" icon for video.)

My boys start school on Monday; I promise to post a real blog soon.  Happy end of summer to all...

approaching normal!!!

Great stuff Jessica!

OK with you if I use it at my next free treatment day party. Bonny

Wow!!!

Jessica, that is amazing. I had to watch it twice just to believe what I was seeing:  a mainstream newscast that treated community acupuncture as if it were completely normal and acceptable. Also, your clinic and your patients are lovely.

You are the Goddess of Marketing

Jessica, you rock!  How did you get the NBC folks interested in doing a story?!?

So Cool!

That's a great piece.  I love how all the salient points were mentioned.  Not often you see that.  You rock, Jessica!!

How'd you do that?

Hi Jessica,

How did you end up having a story like that done?  That's really wonderful!  Congratulations!

Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you for the kind comments.  She only had 90 seconds for her piece, so although we talked for hours (about CAN, affordable health care, the insurance fiasco, acupuncture success stories, and much much more), she sadly couldn't fit it all in.  I thought she did a nice job of highlighting some of the main points though.

The story came about because my husband was featured on the front page of the Washington Post last month for his acupuncture work with some of the dogs rescued from Michael Vick's fighting ring.  As a result of that story, he had several reporters contact him, one of whom was from NBC (check out his video!).  Fred told the tv reporter that she should come back to interview me about my clinic, and voila!  We were both on NBC during the same month--how crazy is that?!

Yes, anyone is welcome to link to it or show it at freebie clinics.  I hope it helps us all.  :)

hooray!

Wow Jessica, that is awesome.  Congrats!!!!  I love that the reporter was reporting from a chair, with needles in!  Talk about taking the scary out - she looked so comfy!  And you looked lovely and CALM - very impressive.  I bet you've gotten a huge response.
